THOUGHTS & THINGS AMMONITE is not just a fossil anymore. There was a new body found in our orbit, but it is way out there at the edge of our galaxy near the dwarf planets, beyond Neptune, and it is currently classified as a sednoid. It has an eccentric orbit, so could be nicknamed the Eccentric Bugaloo, since it has scientists rethinking how those celestial objects arrived in our Sun's orbit. Read more here. WHITE HOUSE UP LATE UPDATE Trumpy Trump’s long run of unbeatable successes hit another peak at the end of July with power hungry Pluto exactly contraparallel his natal Sun. But this run is over for now--in heliocentric transiting Saturn applies by quincunx to his natal Jupiter until August 13, This is a crucial transit that is not good for his judgement or his health. We heard he is already banned from eating McDonald's burgers for health reasons. That same Saturn slowly opposes his natal Mars until mid-November, too, and may create some frustrations and a slowdown for this fearless leader. MONEY Lots of dire rumors are circulating about how Saturn conjunct Neptune will play out. Some people will be in for a belt tightening process in the upcoming year, certainly, but don't forget that Saturn and Neptune are sextile both Pluto and Uranus, so that planetary picture relieves some of the dread and despair of that worrisome pairing. Although inflation is currently about 3% Social Security increases are projected to be 2.5% or less, while Medicare Advantage rates will rise by 7.2%. Despite the Federal Reserve fighting against it, it is likely that the interest rates will come down before February, when this alignment is exact, an event which will impact investment returns, CD rates, and mortgage rates and help lower the national debt which is currently unmanageable.
