One does not see the light without the dark, good is only appreciated when there is evil, the glass is half empty or half full.

There are two sides to every coin, a top and bottom to every bottle, a back and front to every piece of clothing and a pro and con to every situation.

Humans have left brain and right brain activity and each side serves a different purpose, but when the two halves work together, thought becomes a cohesive whole.

The Sun is currently occupying the space in the sky known as Pisces. Pisces is represented by TWO fish which is a reminder that every sign, archetype and planet has dual meanings.

When a planet is aligned in a helpful way with other planets it can promote the highest and best symbolisms but when it is negatively aligned with another planet it may display its shadow meaning.

We cannot survive without water, but a flood can sweep away everything we own.

The best way to handle dual sets of planetary conditions with opposing characteristics is to hope for the best but plan for the worst.

MARCH 2019

March 1 - Both Jupiter and Saturn are performing a tango with the Earth as March begins. Jupiter and Saturn are business planets at completely opposite sides of the pole, so it might come as no surprise to see a shift in the business world.

Optimism, faith and expansion are represented by Jupiter, while Saturn in a positive manifestation symbolizes caution, careful organization and contraction.  Jupiter can bring us optimism, opportunities and benefits but too much optimism can blind us to potential pitfalls or persuade us to waste opportunities and benefits.

March 5 - Mercury turns Retrograde at 29.6 Pisces and turns Direct on March 28 at 16.1 Pisces.

March 6 – The New Moon at 15.8 Pisces is conjunct Neptune and Vesta. If you have a birth planet at 15-16 degrees, you may feel a groundswell of love for your fellow man. This seems as though it would be an excellent time to join a group, put a financial matter into motion or start a health regimen.

However, without the whole picture you might be misled. Read on.

March 2- March 8 - What you might miss unless you also view the heliocentric system is a T-Square of the Earth, Mars and Neptune that lasts several days.  Between March 2 and March 6 this T-Square dominates the global heliocentric chart and it isn’t finished until after the Mars square Earth peaks on March 8.

Mars and Neptune in square often represent passive aggressive behavior on one level as well as the potential for a nasty fight that can’t easily be won because the opponent hides their animosity. Start something now and the results can be disappointing.

March 11- 16 – The Sun is exactly contraparallel to Chiron on March 12th. If you have read about Cinderella Days you might be fooled into thinking this a great time to begin a relationship, throw your financial hat into the ring or make a promise. The Sun is also in an exact square to Jupiter on the 13th and you may think that no harm can ever come from good natured Jupiter.

On the surface this looks encouraging, but in the heliocentric system there is a T-Square of Venus, Neptune and Mercury.

Misunderstandings can abound when Venus and Neptune are square. Mars, although separating, is still wedged into its T-Square with Neptune.  There is more to this if you peruse the charts carefully, but the fact is that these are not very good days.

March 20 – Full Moon at 0.2 degrees Libra and the Spring Equinox

Once again, the Sun applying to a conjunction to Chiron, a Cinderella aspect,that may make you believe that everything is hunky-dory, but a highly deceptive opposition of Saturn and tricky Juno is simultaneously approaching in the heliocentric system.

March 27-29 – Are the best days of March for financial affairs and romantic getaways.

TWINS AND ASTROLOGY

There has been astrological research that attempts to backtrack to find the date of conception to explain the differences between twins.

The Bush twins, Jenna and Barbara, are FRATERNAL TWINS rather than IDENTICAL TWINS so their time of conception was different.

There is even a THIRD kind of TWIN that is extremely rare. This recent article at Newsweek discusses a third type of twin.

Some people use twins as an example to disparage and discount astrology. In their minds if two people are born on the same day and raised by the same parents, their lives should be identical. In most cases the lives of twins diverge, and this is used as proof that astrology doesn’t work.

However, everyone makes numerous choices every day and no two people will ever make identical choices over the course of their lives.

These unique individual decisions are what makes astrology ring true because they are reflected in the type of life a person builds, whether they are identical or fraternal twins.

One case in point is Jenna Bush Hager.

She is the youngest of fraternal twins born to U.S. President George W. and Laura Bush.
