** THE SUN & EARTH & MORE **

Every project, business, romantic relationship, or partnership has its own birth chart, and the Sun and Earth are the most crucial factors in that chart.

Every day can vary in its propensity for a successful outcome. Some days are better for love, and some are better for money, but of course, your own chart's transits are the most important. However, when you have great transits and also pick a great day to start something new, the magic happens!

Every day has some good alignments but also some unpleasant ones. No day is ever perfect. The Sun or Earth is the most important body in any chart, so understanding their most significant alignments can help you make better choices.

This section places emphasis on the aspects to the Sun & Earth in the world chart.

Harsh SATURN creates a GRAND TRINE with the SUN and optimistic JUPITER in the middle of November 2026.

When Saturn is part of a Grand Trine its better side is seen. Between the 14th and 17th of November the Spirit (Sun) of Wisdom (Jupiter) is tempered by Experience (Saturn).

Red Days: November 1, 8, 9 (these are slightly negative but offered from an abundance of caution)

Yellow Days: November 1, 8, 9

Green Days: November 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27

A Grand Trine of Sun, Saturn, and Jupiter forms between November 14 and 16, allowing the scales of justice to balance. This notable mid-month planetary pattern begins while the Sun also is quincunx Chiron and square Lilith. All of these bodies are retrograde (except nasty Lilith and all of the other planets involved are much more important and powerful than Lilith).

This key time period is not heavily connected to the U.S. chart, although Jupiter slows to go retrograde very close to the U.S. chart’s Mercury, so the symbolism would suggest more wisdom and good judgement in the messaging from the United States.Jupiter is the planet of compromise so one would think that the government shutdown would end easily. However, as the shutdown drags on remember that Jupiter is also the planet of ethics, wisdom, and protection. This could mean there is a very good reason to avoid a compromise or to yield to unreasonable demands.

That brings up the fact that transiting Pluto is currently quincunx the U.S. chart's natal Jupiter as well as contraparallel the U.S. chart’s natal Sun and Jupiter through December.

These Golden Transits could translate into the U.S. attaining some excellent financial goals—income from tariffs comes to mind—as well as being able to upgrade its power standing on the world stage—getting Russia to back down from aggression is a possibility.

*THOUGHTS & THINGS*

The threat of a government shutdown has become a regular event. Anyone who had a well rounded literary childhood will recall the story of Peter and the Wolf. Peter cried "WOLF" so many times that no one paid attention anymore, so when the real wolf showed up he was on his own.

The Sun was parallel Saturn and opposing Ceres on September 30 in the world chart, so agreement between the congressional factions was unlikely, and likely to last.

Ceres is selfish and focused on making a profit. Saturn is selfish, too. When the two are paired in a chart this could represent coercion applied for selfish reasons.

Pluto trine Uranus in the shutdown chart promises powerful changes for the common good, so things aren't all bad. Almost any change to the way Congress handles the budget should be a good thing.

For the U.S. itself there could be some silver linings lurking in the shutdown clouds. After all, Jupiter the planet of good will, fairness, wisdom, and protection, was opposing the U.S. chart's natal Earth, while making a conjunction to its geocentric Mercury. There is a chance that good sense will overcome excessive spending.

The Continuing Resolution Act that is a bone of contention is based on continuing the original Appropriations Act signed and enacted on March 9, 2024. Saturn is parallel the Sun of that chart and impedes progress until November 20, 2025.

Even when the shutdown ends there will be another deadline at the end of the year which means another CR to vote on within a dysfunctional Congress and another chance for a shutdown.

Let's look ahead at retrograde energy shifts for the rest of the year. If you have a natal planet synchronized with one of these station points your chart will be impacted by that planet's influence more than other people.
