*** WHAT'S HAPPENING ***
FEBRUARY 2026

Finis Origine Pendet
The end depends upon the beginning.
** THE SUN & EARTH & MORE **
Every project, business, romantic relationship, or partnership has its own birth chart, and the Sun and Earth are the most crucial factors in that chart.
Red days are the most challenging. Green days are the most helpful. Yellow Days require extra caution.
Set for NY 6 am Eastern Time
Every day can vary in its propensity for a successful outcome. Some days are better for love, and some are better for money, but of course, your own chart's transits are the most important. However, when you have great transits and also pick a great day to start something new, the magic happens!
Every day has some good alignments but also some unpleasant ones. No day is ever perfect. The Sun or Earth is the most important body in any chart, so understanding their most significant alignments can help you make better choices.
This section places emphasis on the aspects to the Sun & Earth in the world chart for the best and worst days to begin something new.
~~~***~~~
Feb 3 Uranus stations direct at 27 Taurus. Thereafter Uranus creeps forward into Gemini by late April where it remains for approximately seven years.
Feb 3 - 4 Good days to plan or to initate new projects while Jupiter and the Jupiter /Chiron midpoint are illuminated by the Sun.
Feb 11 Sedna stations direct at 0.7 Gemini and will remain in Gemini for approximately 60 years.
Feb 13 Saturn enters Aries where it will hold court until 2028
Feb 13 - 16 Friday the 13th is an unlucky day to begin anything new! This is the first day of a series of agitating and stressful alignments in the world chart. The Sun and Uranus at a 90 degree aspect to one another could lead to unpredictable outcomes if something new is launched. Enjoy investigating something weird, wonderful, or unusual but do not commit to it.
Feb 17 Solar Eclipse (Annular) 28.9 Aquarius -This New Moon occurs with the Sun and Moon in a turbulent T-square to Sedna the planet that represents the rot of corruption and Odin the celestial body that symbolizes leadership. "Speak truth to power" is a quote that comes to mind. It is a time to flush out the bad apples and shake things up.
Feb 19 - 21 Power plays and cold hearted calculating ambition are emphasized as the Earth forms a yod with Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto, while square Sedna. The fear generating Saturn/Neptune conjunction in Aries is highlighted
Feb 22 - 26 Those with romance in their hearts or seeking inspiration might enjoy these days when they can escape the worst of the controlling and contrasting forces at work in the past week.
A rare triple conjunction of Venus, Saturn, and Neptune may spur creative people to put form to their imagination or put the genie of beauty in a bottle. There are two Grand Trines in the heliocentric system that may allow inspired business ideas to take wing if your personal chart agrees; Earth -Ceres- Juno and Earth -Ceres- Ixion.
Feb 26 Mercury stations retrograde at 22 Pisces, will turn direct on March 20 at 8.4 Pisces.
*** FEBRUARY LUNA ***
If you have a planet synchronized with the degree of the New Moon or Full Moon, or one of the eclipse degrees, your chart will be more affected than most other people.
*** FULL MOON ***
Feb 1 2026 17:10
Sun 180 Moon at 13 Leo
*** NEW MOON ***
Feb 17 2026 07:02 at 28.9 Aquarius
Solar Eclipse (Annular)
*Dates chosen in in EST or EDST
Here's something to think about: During a New Moon phase the Moon cannot be seen in the night sky, but it is still there. Just because something is not visible at the moment doesn’t mean it has disappeared or is gone forever. The Moon reminds us to have faith that light will return to illuminate even our darkest nights.
*** ECLIPSES 2026 ***
If you have a natal planet synchronized with one of these eclipse degrees your chart will be impacted by the eclipse's influence more than other people.
Feb 17 Solar Eclipse (Annular) 28.9 Aquarius
Mar 2–3 Lunar Eclipse (Total) 12.9 Virgo/Pisces
Aug 12 Solar Eclipse (Total) 20 Leo
Aug 27–28 Lunar Eclipse (Partial) 4.9 Pisces/Virgo
Looking ahead: According to NASA's solar eclipse calendar, the longest solar eclipse in 100 years will occur on August 2, 2027. Its total phase will last 6 minutes and 23 seconds.
*** PLANETARY PIVOT POINTS ***
Let's look ahead at retrograde energy shifts for the next few months. If you have a natal planet synchronized with one of these station points your chart will be impacted by that planet's influence more than other people.
Uranus D Feb 3, 2026 20:05 at 27.4 Taurus
Sedna D Feb 11, 2026 23:00 at 0.7 Gemini
Mercury RX Feb 26, 2026 at 22.5 Pisces
Jupiter D Mar 10, 2026 21:02 at 15 Cancer
Mercury D Mar 20 2026 14:00 at 8.4 Pisces
* THOUGHTS & THINGS *
Facts Found in Fantasy & Fiction
Mars is the traditional ruler of iron.
Iron could be described as the fairy’s kryptonite, as frequently mentioned in an array of fantasy tales where fairies shrink in fear from iron which drains their magical powers.
It is believed that the Celts began migrating into the British Isles and especially Ireland, Wales and Scotland, around 500 B.C. bringing their iron forging skills and their folklore about magical beings.
Ireland, however, is the land most often associated with fairies and other magical "wee folk" such as leprechauns.
So, it is not surprising to learn that haemochromatosis is the most common genetic disorder in Northern Ireland, mostly found in people of Irish and Scots ancestry.
This disorder means a person is more at risk of absorbing too much iron which can over time damage parts of their body.
Symptoms can range from chronic fatigue, joint pain, memory issues, abdominal pain and skin conditions. If left untreated it can lead to serious long-term health complications.
Thousands of people in parts of Northern Ireland are now being offered free testing for a disorder commonly called the Celtic Curse.
Fairies aren’t real, are they?.
FEBRUARY STAR CAROLE KING
Carol King might be in her 80's now but you have probably heard one of her songs in the past few months-- there were a LOT of them.
Carole King was born with the Sun square Saturn.
The Sun square Saturn is not necessarily a bad thing in a person's birth chart. In some people the challenges inherent in Saturn are distilled into ambition and self-discipline.
She was born February 9, 1942 and was the subject of Rolling Stone’s magazine 2017 ode to this great American songwriter, titled, “10 Songs You Didn’t Know Carole King Wrote.”
IMDB says “She is the most successful female songwriter of the latter half of the 20th century in the USA, having written or co-written 118 pop hits on the Billboard Hot 100 between 1955 and 1999.”
King was the creative force behind hit songs that ranged from Bobby Vee’s 1961 “Take Good Care of My Baby" to 1962’s girl group recordings of “Chains” and “The Loco-Motion” and 1966’s “Don't Bring Me Down” by Eric Burton and the Animals.
Her 1971 “Tapestry” album featured her singing an array of iconic new hits including “You’ve Got A Friend.” This recording earned four GRAMMY Awards® — Record, Song and Album of The Year as well as Best Pop Vocal Performance.
In 1985, she wrote and performed the theme to The Care Bears Movie called "Care-A-Lot." She collaborated with Mariah Carey on the 1991 song "If It's Over " and rewrote the lyrics to "Where You Lead" so it would fit better as the theme for the top rated Gilmore Girls TV show of 2000.
The Rolling Stone’s article said, “Played back to back, Carole King's chart entries would run about five straight hours. And those are just her hits....”
Her life was glamorized on Broadway during the six-year run of "Beautiful - The Carole King Musical" which debuted January 12, 2014 and won numerous awards including a GRAMMY® for Best Musical Theater Album and two Tony awards.
This notable and prolific artist was born with Mercury and Venus contraparallel Chiron, showing the delightful expression of her voice and wording. Neptune usually features prominently in a chart of a musician, and her Neptune is trine Pallas, the planet of precision. Family stories say she had perfect pitch.
Neptune and Pallas are in a wide grand trine with Uranus, showing how her music shaped an age. Perhaps even ages.
Her Sun and Mercury were in the center of a T-square with Saturn and Juno. She began writing songs in high school, which signals her great ambition and creative talents, but her personal life was not always lyrical. One of her several husbands died of a drug overdose in the 70’s.
